Road Viaduct in Bukowno

In May 2025, we completed one of Bukowno’s key infrastructure projects. Opened to traffic on 9 May 2025, the new road viaduct connected the northern and southern parts of the city, significantly improving the local transport network.

 
Located between 1 Maja Street and Kolejowa Street, the structure spans thirteen railway tracks. The viaduct was designed as a single-span steel arch structure with a reinforced concrete deck, longitudinally prestressed with flat-type cables. The span length is 115.00 m, while the overall width of the structure reaches 12.20 m.

 
The viaduct carries a two-way carriageway with a width of 7.00 m, replacing the former railway crossings and considerably improving both traffic flow and safety for local residents.

 
The scope of the project also included:

reconstruction of the road system,
installation of the required underground infrastructure,
construction of a new bus station platform,
construction of a parking area with 40 spaces.
 
The total value of the investment was nearly PLN 50 million. Completed on schedule and in line with the highest quality and safety standards, the project represents an important step in the transport transformation of Bukowno.
