The consortium of Swietelsky Rail Polska Sp. z o.o. and Swietelsky AG carried out construction works under Contract No. 90/103/0028/17/Z/I for the preparation of design documentation and execution of construction works on the Kraków Płaszów – Podbory Skawińskie section, as part of the project “Works on Railway Line No. 94 on the Kraków Płaszów – Skawina – Oświęcim section”, together with additional works.

The project also covered the Skawina station area and contributed to the modernization of railway infrastructure, improving operational safety, traffic flow, and the overall standard of passenger service on this section of the line.
